Netbook reflection.

  • As much as I have loved having a Netbook there are some things that I haven’t liked the Internet problems on google docs also. The other thing is that I can not type in my writing and other. It is really fusrating when you have to wait for everybody to get there netbok. Another thing that's fusrating is that when google docs underlines your mistakes. it’s made it much easier to work on.

The hardest thing for me is that I is not play games although I have been pretty cyber smart. Most of the time I am doing my work it Is so tempting to check my game were I was saved. This is a distracting device and also helpful.

It would be so frustrating I would rip my book into pieces and beg for someone to give me a netbook. But I will suck it and keep working. I would miss my netbook so much. I probably coul dn't live without a netbook.

Solutions To Live On Neptune

Problems with living on Neptune is that you can not breath any oxygen out. It is very difficult to live on Neptune it has different kind of gases apart from oxygen. Neptune is called a gas giants.

When you try to live on Neptune put on a big tank full of oxygen which helps you to breath. The oxygen goes through a generator from earth to Neptune. The tubes goes through for us to breath also. Our hover board houses would visit each other in there house.

They can also drop big oxygen bombs to breath air. Also air glue oxygen to Neptune so they wouldn't have to use a generator to breath. Make a big tunnel that holds oxygen and holes which you can breath from.

People living on Neptune can have special insulators that can insulate oxygen through out the planet. This should be able to help humans breathe on the planet. We would also need Helmets that would keep oxygen in reach of our bodies.

Maybe to be creative we could create special oxygen bottles of spray which we could easily spray that can make us live on Neptune.these bottles would spray just enough oxygen to last 24 hours. My faivrote
solution was to insulate oxygen into your body which will help you to live on Neptune.

All these solutions are what I think would help us live on Neptune Imagine if all these solutions became true and we did end up living on the planet Neptune.

Ice Cream Comets

Filled with joy and excitement, room 13 made Ice cream comets in our bay. “Yummy” I said. As most kids had a wild excitement they were crazy and demanding for more. I knew this was going to be a big treat.

Eagerly awaiting for the delectable treat one of the teachers poured Ice cream on our hand.
Mixing it with biscuits and sprinkles it turned out good. As our stomachs were impatient we begged to eat it. We rolled it like play dough. It began to melt on my fingers.

As whaea Janille put a cone on top we scoped up the ice cream on our cones we slurped.
sweet ice cream dripped in my hand as it created a large mess. It made my stomach sore.
Crunch crunch I heard as some of our class devoured it.

What a afternoon to enjoy It left me begging for more. That was yummy and I wish that we could do it again.

Auckland warriors

What a disappointing game the warriors lost vs Manly sea eagles. The warriors were in the grand final they played at Sydney. It was a mighty challenge for the Warriors after nearly losing all there games.

The kick went off the warriors did big hits two people bumped right into each other that Steve Matais eye bleed. It was there desire to win there strength really tested them to go further. They busted through the through Manly but they kept fumbles and despiar whenever they had the ball. They attacked Ivan Clary wasn't very happy.

The warriors game of there life wasn,t really working out until Manu vatu vai got the try. They kept on having trys but it was always knock ons. The warriors would lose.
With a comeback The sea eagles won.

It was a frustrating game. Better luck next year.

Sonny Bill was so excited to play against france. Side steeping and dodging one by one by one I was near the tryline. Accurately dived for the try as the crowed. It was crazy. It was feeding time at the zoo. Quckliy kicking the ball it rebounded off the goal post . There were more all black supporters then France. What a win

Ivan clearey

Ivan clearey Is one of the best kickers in Nrl he played for manly sea eagles and many more. Once he became good at fullback and center even though his position was center and fullback he Is still was good at kicking.

His kicks would curve over in the goal post. He now coaches the Auckland warriors and is great help to make the warriors make it in the grand finals. sadly he is moving to the penrith panthers.

How good is he after all he is legendary.

Making Alfajorcitos

Mouth watering tasty alfajorcitos is now my favourite snack. We made yummy and delicious alfajorcitos. These are a very popular treat in Argentina. Some people eat them for lunch, dinner and even breakfast. We had a go at making alfajorcitos ourselves.

Making alfajorcitos takes just a few very simple steps. Just put dulce de leche on the two biscuits and squash them together. Dulce de leche is similar to caramel but is condensed milk boiled for three hours. We then rolled the biscuits in coconut.

The first experience that I had was when the dulce de leche oozed over my tongue. It trickled over my taste buds. Yum I thought. The biscuits were just a little too big for the dulce de leche to be tasted properly I tried to smother enough dulce de leche so that the coconut would stick.

That is one my favourite experiences, I wish we could have had an extra one. But I had a good time at giving it a go Yum.

Aussie Rules

What an afternoon that was when we played Aussie rules fun I said to myself”. Megan and Allissa Helped us with skills and drills I knew this was going to be a day.

As blustrey wind went through my hair It was like a season It was changeable it .
It was unexpected weather.

Skills and warm up was fun was that we played a game named jumper bumper it is when you keep bumping each other untill you put your other leg down. That was fun ,warm up that was. Bouncing up and down the ball was just frustrating so far so good I said.

Kicking baseball was fun. Waiting in the line was boring.
until it was my turn I kicked the ball “yay” just two steps away I was out “man” I said I walked away with a big fat frown.

That was fun what a Thursday I just cant wait to play that silly old kicking baseball.
I'm hoping to make next week like a good time like last Thursday .

Black out day

It was one of my favorite times, I dressed for school today. It was about going to be Black Out Day. Black Out Day was to show our support for the All Blacks on the opening day of the Rugby World Cup.

Running down the footpath as I saw my friend. Many were people was wearing black clothes. Coins jingled in my pocket I was going to buy a sausage for my lunch.

Arriving at school, I noticed, to my surprise, that even the teachers were wearing all black. My freinds even had black wigs on. I love it when our whole school gets behind an idea.

At assembly Mr Burt kept telling a whole heap of stories about the times when he was at the rugby games. He was not wearing his hat and he had lots of yucky things go on his head. How digusting is that poor Mr Burt.

In our classroom we painted some All Black players. We had to trace around a small person - that was like Lee and then colour them in. It was fun. We had to do the detail of his body with crayon and now they are hanging on our curtain .

After morning tea our class, all went to the courts to play some rugby games. The sun was shining and the sevens boys had set up some fun looking games. I was in team Russia.

We played some games like tackling bags and many more but that was my favorite. It was time to feel the heat. I also liked kicking the ball through the goalpost. The boys who ran it were charm and Raven. Then it was lunchtime.

I ate my sausage at lunchtime under the shade of some trees - it felt like summertime what a good time for a sausage. What a day.

I had such a great black out day and I really hope that the All Blacks go hard and they can win tonight. My brother is supporting Tonga, but I don’t really care if they win.

Cross country

Cross country is not my favorite part of the year - we have to run.
My pounding heart just feels like butterflies, I don't want to really run. I was singing "rain rain rain" in a fierce way but it didn't happen, "just have to run" I said.
Mr Burt was saying on your marks My lungs were telling me to go easy at the start. I was scared. People were sprinting at the start and I was jogging. I already had burning lungs telling me to slow down.

We had then got halfway it already felt like the path was never ending. Me, well I persevered till the end, as my spirit lifted I could almost see my school again YAY.

When we got to school I saw people cheering for me. It was like I was in a concert. With the last energy I saved my best till last.

I was happy that I actually finished, I could have been left sitting in the creek.

Badminton

Badminton is a very fun game. We got to learn how to play badminton at school, how lucky were we.
As Donna, from Sport Auckland taught us how to do a very powerful hit, it seemed that the racquet might fly out of my hand. She then took us to hit shuttles up and down into the air. As pivoting shoes slipped on the shiny floor, kids persevered till the end to hit the shuttle. I really wanted to stop now, however next we got to play Badminton soccer and that was cool.

Whacking and hitting the shuttle, back and forth, the game was so quick that nobody got to have a proper turn. The only one who stayed in for a long time was my friend, Uili. In saying that, the only reason was because no one ever hit the shuttle to him, so he did not have a chance to get out.

I desperately tried to hit the shuttle directly to my opponent. 'Pinging' "nosies from a shuttle sounds like success” I said to myself. As concentration filled the class, people began to give up.

I was very happy, although very tired but the day had been a success. I am now waiting for next week and crossing my fingers that we can do a sport similar to Badminton again.

Jonah Lomu

All blacks legend Jonah Lomu had his debut in the all blacks, in 1994 to become one of the fierest players in all time history. He was a big tongan man, also a intimidating player. He had 63 games with the All Blacks.

In  1997 Jonah Lomu found out that he had a kidney disease. Grant Kereama gave him one of his kidneys.
For many years he looked for teams to play for and then finally he retired at 2007.

The Origins of Rugby

1859 there was a school named Rugby. They played a game similar to Rugby but was called football. Players couldn’t run with the ball but they were permitted to handle the ball. Enormous rolling mauls caused major injuries as hundred of players were allowed to play so there was no fix limit of players of the field.

Then in 1823 a kid named William Webb Ellis ran with the ball. People thought, “What is going on?” It took 22 years just to write the first rules for the new game of Rugby.

Footbath

People use the drinking fountain to wash their feet the could not wash their feet properly. Our teachers will get angry at us because they would be holding up our class. It was fustrating too, because the water was not hard enough to get your feet washed properly.Your parents will get angry at the mess.

Our design that we made is going to be in our bay. Our footbath washer will be stronger than the drinking fountain, so we can wash our feet more easily.

We choose this design because children won't be all muddy and they won't stain the carpet in class.

State of origin 3

Waiting for state of origin to start I was hoping Queensland would win.watching the game I was screaming for Queensland and they got the first try. I was so pleased to see that Greg inglish got it.Watching thirston going for the kick was hard to see and I screamed they got the kick right through the goal. Now the hard bit was watching the rest of the game cause if they lost they would have no shield.and thankfully Queensland won. YAAAAAAAAAAY

Trip To Motat

Shaking in the motat I said “can we go here, there and everywhere?” I just knew Miss King was sick of me.First we had a class we learnt about how inventions have changed over the decades.I looked at the camera's there was one in particular that was my favorite that was the brownie camera it was made in the 1900s by the Kodak company. We also looked at the new Zealand inventions one was the buzzy bee.

Going into the tactile dome was very fun.My favorite part was getting stuck in the net and going down the slides I was the first one to get out of the dome. We finally got to explore the motat We went to the hands on touch room so where ever you are in the room your allowed to touch. Brandon an
d I went in the earth quake room it was funny because Brandon was hitting his head on the table.

Going to the future

With a big ball of fire the Delorean was off. During the travel was Jenifer starring blankly, she finally screamed at them "are you guys crazy, I want to go home". Marty was trying to comfort her. Doc was saying "my inventions have never failed" as he was touching his gadgets and gizmos. There they were in the future.

Back to The Future

We were learning to include speech in a paragraph today.

Reversing out of the drive way, Marty worryingly asked ‘Hey Doc, we better back up, we don't have enough road to get to 88.” Doc replied “Roads. Where we’re going we don't we need roads.” While he was adjusting his futuristic glasses. They flew off with a bright flash, and in a second, they were gone
