Ivan clearey

Ivan clearey Is one of the best kickers in Nrl he played for manly sea eagles and many more. Once he became good at fullback and center even though his position was center and fullback he Is still was good at kicking.

His kicks would curve over in the goal post. He now coaches the Auckland warriors and is great help to make the warriors make it in the grand finals. sadly he is moving to the penrith panthers.

How good is he after all he is legendary.

Making Alfajorcitos

Mouth watering tasty alfajorcitos is now my favourite snack. We made yummy and delicious alfajorcitos. These are a very popular treat in Argentina. Some people eat them for lunch, dinner and even breakfast. We had a go at making alfajorcitos ourselves.

Making alfajorcitos takes just a few very simple steps. Just put dulce de leche on the two biscuits and squash them together. Dulce de leche is similar to caramel but is condensed milk boiled for three hours. We then rolled the biscuits in coconut.

The first experience that I had was when the dulce de leche oozed over my tongue. It trickled over my taste buds. Yum I thought. The biscuits were just a little too big for the dulce de leche to be tasted properly I tried to smother enough dulce de leche so that the coconut would stick.

That is one my favourite experiences, I wish we could have had an extra one. But I had a good time at giving it a go Yum.

Aussie Rules

What an afternoon that was when we played Aussie rules fun I said to myself”. Megan and Allissa Helped us with skills and drills I knew this was going to be a day.

As blustrey wind went through my hair It was like a season It was changeable it .
It was unexpected weather.

Skills and warm up was fun was that we played a game named jumper bumper it is when you keep bumping each other untill you put your other leg down. That was fun ,warm up that was. Bouncing up and down the ball was just frustrating so far so good I said.

Kicking baseball was fun. Waiting in the line was boring.
until it was my turn I kicked the ball “yay” just two steps away I was out “man” I said I walked away with a big fat frown.

That was fun what a Thursday I just cant wait to play that silly old kicking baseball.
I'm hoping to make next week like a good time like last Thursday .

Black out day

It was one of my favorite times, I dressed for school today. It was about going to be Black Out Day. Black Out Day was to show our support for the All Blacks on the opening day of the Rugby World Cup.

Running down the footpath as I saw my friend. Many were people was wearing black clothes. Coins jingled in my pocket I was going to buy a sausage for my lunch.

Arriving at school, I noticed, to my surprise, that even the teachers were wearing all black. My freinds even had black wigs on. I love it when our whole school gets behind an idea.

At assembly Mr Burt kept telling a whole heap of stories about the times when he was at the rugby games. He was not wearing his hat and he had lots of yucky things go on his head. How digusting is that poor Mr Burt.

In our classroom we painted some All Black players. We had to trace around a small person - that was like Lee and then colour them in. It was fun. We had to do the detail of his body with crayon and now they are hanging on our curtain .

After morning tea our class, all went to the courts to play some rugby games. The sun was shining and the sevens boys had set up some fun looking games. I was in team Russia.

We played some games like tackling bags and many more but that was my favorite. It was time to feel the heat. I also liked kicking the ball through the goalpost. The boys who ran it were charm and Raven. Then it was lunchtime.

I ate my sausage at lunchtime under the shade of some trees - it felt like summertime what a good time for a sausage. What a day.

I had such a great black out day and I really hope that the All Blacks go hard and they can win tonight. My brother is supporting Tonga, but I don’t really care if they win.

Cross country

Cross country is not my favorite part of the year - we have to run.
My pounding heart just feels like butterflies, I don't want to really run. I was singing "rain rain rain" in a fierce way but it didn't happen, "just have to run" I said.
Mr Burt was saying on your marks My lungs were telling me to go easy at the start. I was scared. People were sprinting at the start and I was jogging. I already had burning lungs telling me to slow down.

We had then got halfway it already felt like the path was never ending. Me, well I persevered till the end, as my spirit lifted I could almost see my school again YAY.

When we got to school I saw people cheering for me. It was like I was in a concert. With the last energy I saved my best till last.

I was happy that I actually finished, I could have been left sitting in the creek.
