Rocky narrative:




Waking up in the morning in my warm blankets I decided to get ready for school. While having a warm shower I could hear my mum making my lunch. I kissed my mum goodbye as I walked out the door.


The sound of gunshots echoed through the air as I jumped out of bed onto the cold firm floor as I heard my baby sister screaming out for help.


Arriving to school I can meet school mates the bell rings me and my friends go to class. we go to our literacy classes I knew this was gonna be a good day.


My mum keep us all calm as we hide from the rebels that are going to kill us. Will I see another day i got to say it was not a

good day.






Looking for wood to keep my family warm I find anything I can to keep my family warm. We live in a tent with 10 people we have to share blankets almost everything.


After school I would get picked up from my mum we would go home. as soon as I get home I lye on the couch and play game.

Having Fun at the Beach

During the long holiday my family and friends went to the beach. It was great fun because during our swim there was this huge wave! 
I wish I could go back again.

Being An Ambassador for 2012

This year of being an ambassador has been really fun. A real highlight was learning to build my confidence and talk properly. I loved meeting many important people like the mayor. I wish I could go back and be an ambassador for school in 2013.


















The most favorite part was going to our away games to AUT, and MIT. Our last one was really fun because we got dinner at the hall. I wish that I could be an ambassador again. Thanks Mrs Burt.

Netbook Reflection 2012

This year a netbook has really helped me because I had a choice of choosing different topics whenever. Although this has been fun it has been challenging to because many of your netbook problems you had to try and fix it yourself. I really liked taking it home to do extra work so on fridays I do not have to catch up.

A great thing about my netbook is that you have the best of both worlds. A real highlight for me was how learning changes when you use your netbook. It is easier to show your work to your teachers because you can use your docs and share it with your teacher. Maybe we could add a cover to make our netbook not break so easily.

Sometimes netbooks can be challenging to fix because If you want to change your themes sometimes the theme you have chosen is too big to see everything. The Hinges on the netbook are too weak which means your netbook could break faster. It takes long to turn on the netbook. Maybe we could add a bigger screen so you don't scroll down to see stuff instead of it making it fit.

Overall I have really enjoyed this year with our netbooks. I would like to thank Mrs Telea for helping me with my netbook issues and also the rest of the maniakalani trust for getting us netbooks. I can't wait for next year to use my netbook again.

Asembly

Today at assembly we were talking about how we are doing very great with our work. Because lately we have had visitors come to our school. And this wednesday we won an award for maniakalani and Neven went to wellington on behalf of our school.

I was very happy when we found out about the good news. I like assembly because you get awards from our principal Mr Burt.

Alien

One day I was doing free time then I found a website could alien.com and then suddenly something weird happened. Something weird happened some kind of ugly monster at our school. But It was not just some kind of monster it is a alien. oh no what happened!




The alien looked ugly but it was harmless. it was so nice. But it could not speak. Later on it looked very hungry. So we tried to feed it Mc Donald's but he would not eat it.




Finally we found out what to feed him he wanted worms for lunch. Then we played rugby with him. It was hard because he kept on bumping off each other.




Sadly he had to go back to his website.

Two Weird Dudes

Two suckers from China were going to cross the road because across there was there base. They kept on talking to each other. One of them said that they were going to come first he said. They were very happy that day. Then they came down to the hill.
When both of them said WOOOOOOOOOOOOO HHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOO. Until they came crashing down together tripping up together at the same time. they fell on there head first. The rest of them came coming laughing at each other.

No they tried to jump back up but it was to late. Sadly the jumped over the car and sadly came fourth.

Nek time make sure to look before you cross. If you do not I WILL SMASH YOU!

The Day my Toy Came Alive

One stormy night I decided to go and get my bear until he magically came alive. "What is this?" I said in terror. "My name is Wluffy Winks," the bear said. I could not believe my eyes! Was this going to be the day my toy came alive?

MUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMM! "What?" she demanded! "My toy is alive!" I yelled. I think she thought I was nuts. As I strolled through the lounge I jumped up as there he was eating the Ice Cream. "WHY ARE YOU ALIVE?" I said. "I want to be free," he replied.

I then wanted to make the most of playing with him before my parents woke up. So then we played video games and watched tv. We also wrestled but I lost. Then the sun was just about to rise and he turned back into an ordinary toy.


I cant wait till I see him again at night time!

Netbook reflection.

• As much as I have loved having a Netbook there are some things that I haven’t liked the Internet problems on google docs also. The other thing is that I can not type in my writing and other. It is really fusrating when you have to wait for everybody to get there netbok. Another thing that's fusrating is that when google docs underlines your mistakes. it’s made it much easier to work on.

The hardest thing for me is that I is not play games although I have been pretty cyber smart. Most of the time I am doing my work it Is so tempting to check my game were I was saved. This is a distracting device and also helpful.



It would be so frustrating I would rip my book into pieces and beg for someone to give me a netbook. But I will suck it and keep working. I would miss my netbook so much. I probably coul dn't live without a netbook.
